SATAN
THE ADVERSARY OF MANKIND
So simple a child can understand..
Satan, also known as the Serpent, Remphan, the Devil and the Dragon, is mentioned frequently in the Bible.He is referred to by several different names..
The most important of which are Serpent, Dragon and Devil..Ge:3:1:
Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
Re:12:9:
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
20:2:
And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,God's Word clearly teaches the reality of Satan as a personal entity. He is presented as an evil being who affects humanity by his actions.
Many details about the devil are available in the Bible, but the facts have to be searched out.God made Satan the most beautiful of all his creations.. As shown in Ezekiel..Eze:28:13:
Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.We know that Satan is a cherubim and that he guarded the Mercy Seat
until pride overcame him...
He got jealous of God and wanted to sit in the Mercy Seat himself..
He was so convincing, that he even got a third
of the souls to follow and support him..
This created a problem for God...
Satan was created to guard the Mercy Seat, not occupy it!
The situation had gotten out of hand!
God had to take some form of action against the children who chose to disobey Him..
He could have just killed and got rid of those who would not obey Him.
But God loves all his children..He did and does not want to destroy them..So, that takes us to the end of the First Earth Age..Instead of killing a third of His children, God decided to give them a chance to decide who they wanted to follow,
Himself or Satan.
He decided to destroy that earth age and have all souls pass through this (The Second) Earth Age with the freedom to choose for themselves who they wanted to follow..JEREMIAH tells us what happened..Jer:4:22:
For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.
I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.
I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.
I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.
I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger.
For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate;
yet will I not make a full end.
For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black: because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.And as He said, He didn't turn back from it..
The First Earth Age was destroyed..
It became Void And Without Form...
Then millions of years later, the Second Earth Age
(This One) began..Ge:1:2:And after God had finished his work, this was His message...
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.Ge:1:28:Now we all know that one cannot refill or replenish anything that has not been filled before..
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.That leaves absolutly no room for even a trace of doubt..
